UNS S30300 (Grade 303) 303 stainless steel bar, also known as UNS S30300 and Grade 303, is considered a free machining stainless steel. 303 stainless steel’s corrosion resistance and great machinability make it one of the most popular free machining stainless steels available. It is used in a wide variety of parts from screw to general machining. Grade 303 does not respond to heat treatment, but the toughness is still excellent as with other austenitic grades.
Product information
AISI 303 stainless steel (UNS S30300) was developed for easy cutting and basically belongs to 18-8 stainless steel. It improves the cutting performance while maintaining good mechanical properties. SS 303 has a higher sulfur content, which reduces the resistance on the cutting tool, but has a negative impact on the corrosion resistance, so the corrosion resistance is not as good as AISI 304 stainless steel.

For stock products, will make shipments in 5- 7 days after receiving deposit or receiving L/C; for products need new production for common materials, usually make shipments in 15-20 days; for products need
new production for special and rare materials, usually need 30-40 days to make shipment.

For the new production products no need furthur cutting or processing, will provide the Original Mill

3. Once the received products found not comply with the products the contract demands, what will you do?
