JIS G3103 specifies the hot rolled steel plates of carbon steel and molybdenum alloy steel to be used for boilers and pressure vessels, excepting those to be used at room and cold temperatures. This standard covers steel SB410, SB450, SB480, SB450M and SB480M.These plates are widely used in the fabrication of boilers and pressure vessels in industries such as petrochemical and manufacturing.

Descriptions:

Carbon steel plate SB410 is mainly used for boiler and other pressure vessel buildings in heavy industries.The minimum yield strength shall be above 225 Mpa（N/mm2）.Generally hot rolled is ok for rolling boiler steel plate SB410,Normalized heat treatment also shall be supplied if the end user demanded in their purchase orders.Tensile strength of pressure vessel steel plate shall be within 410-550Mpa.Ultrasonic examination have to be done for these boiler steel plate SB410.
